We thought for fun we would publish our European Election Forecast for the UK before the results are known!
It is our prediction that the UK, which has the opportunity to elect 73 Members to the European Parliament will have voted in the following way:
The Brexit Party – 30 seats
The Labour Party – 12 seats
The Liberal Democrats – 11 seats
The Conservative Party – 10 seats
The Green Party – 5 seats
UKIP – 1 seat
The remaining parties sharing the other 6 seats.
We certainly foresee the Brexit party upsetting the political apple-cart and we also predict other right wing parties doing well in neighbouring European countries, especially in France – though we suspect Angela Merkel’s Party will be ok in Germany.
In total 400 million people across the EU’s 28 member states are eligible to take part in this election and by the morning we should know all of the results.
What are your predictions and perhaps more relevant what impact could these results have on the Euro and the price of commodities including gold and silver?
Tomorrow we shall report in depth on the election results and what they could actually mean in answer to those questions
