Hi,
I had hoped Richard would be able to find the time to answer this as he is far more qualified in specifics than I. I am also aware that many moons ago he wrote a polemic on the subject & I think a podcast.
He has promised me he will give a comprehensive answer to your question when he has time to sort out the EXACT data and the ancilliary…[Read more]

Hi,
there are a staggering number of similar quotes to be had!
The entire structure of the EU is a contrived scam – often advanced by what they call a ‘Beneficial Crisis’!
May I suggest you consider reading up on the history of both Spinnelli & Monnet, founding fathers of the EU of today.
Also a book well worth reading is by two friends of…[Read more]

Hi,
your question 2alarsonpac/Andrea is interesting and I believe wise to place in the public domain on this members only Forum.
Richard & I have discussed the best response and we are of the opinion that the responsible answer we should give should be brief and unequivocal, to avoid ANY misunderstanding.
Therefore we would caution that we…[Read more]

Hi,
having clicked >reply< on cabadejo’s post:
“This appears to be an amalgamation of threads with the posts in an non sequential order. i am answering questions before the questions have been posed. i am psychic but it could be confusing for others.”This SHOULD thus appear directly below that post in an indented position.

Hi,
thanks for that list as it does not actively compete with what we are trying to achieve.
We have had a couple of ideas relative to the list:
1./ We are looking at the practicality of a section listing the newsletter to get gold mining stock picks – possibly republishing each newsletter in cronological order as they come in in a single…[Read more]

Hi,
I’ve been fortunate I’ve been to the bottom stope of Durban Deep which at the time was the deepest mine in the world (gold) – also been down several other working gold mines + a coal mine many years ago.
I’ve also done a fair amount of caving when I was in my teens – I tended to go caving when it was too wet to be on hard rock climbing -…[Read more]

doesn’t look as if layering or stepping replies is working properly.
I’ll see what I can do to sort it.

Hi,
could be a good idea BUT do bear in mind we have a global membership and it is a tall order to justify a mini Davos!!!
We probably don’t have access to 1,700 private jets so that we can produce lots of pollution flying around the world spending other peoples’ money on a jolly!!!
But give it time and we could look again.

Hi,
I am glad you enjoyed Mexico – I have travelled in some very dangerous places many areas of Africa in the 1970s where danger from land mines, terrorists, military, animals and terrain have been omni present yes some VERY close calls but I’m still here.
The slums of Rio & caracas can be scarey – so also can the jungle trails of Malasia or Ma…[Read more]

Hi,
I too have heard these ideas but personally, when you consider the volatility of the countries concerned, I wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole on the basis that it would be a pure gamble.
However there are many who consider a roulette wheel to be other than a device for funding its owner!

Hi,
thanks Richard for going to the trouble of regurgitating the rule book.
I guess most of us are all too well aware of the theoretical defence of banking – it is the all too obvious bending of the rules, so often in the manner of cartels where the theories go so horribly wrong eg. gearing where the rule book may stipulate a given ratio but…[Read more]

Hi,
some would say any interest rate is morally wrong, Christ is purported to have thrown the money lenders out of The Temple, whilst Qoranic Laws of Islam specificly proscribe charging interest in any area – Is charging 1% less morally wrong than charging 2% and thus less morally wrong than 26% or 49% or 1,500% or 10,000%?
How can morality be…[Read more]

Hi,
I agree – look what happened when the idiotic French imposed unsustainable reparations on Germany after WWI – it led directly to WWII via hyper inflation & what is now fashionably called ‘quantative easing’, little wonder those two idiots Blair & Brown so liked the idea.
